TWICE Shatters Records Biggest U.S. Sales Week of 2024 with With YOU th

TWICE continues to make history as the first K-pop girl group to land four different albums in the top 3 of the Billboard 200, and the first to have five albums chart within the top 10. “With YOU-th” marks their sixth entry on the chart overall, following “MORE & MORE,” “Eyes wide open,” “Formula of Love: O+T=<3,” “Taste of Love,” “BETWEEN 1&2,” and “READY TO BE.”

South Korean girl group TWICE has achieved a landmark accomplishment, landing their first No. 1 album on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart with their latest mini album, “With YOU-th.” The news arrived on March 3rd local time, confirming “With YOU-th” debuted at the top spot on the chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States. Notably, the album also secured the biggest U.S. sales week of any album released in 2024, surpassing even non-Korean releases.

According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “With YOU-th” garnered a total of 90,000 equivalent album units during the week ending February 29th. This impressive figure marks the largest U.S. sales week for any album this year so far. The album’s total score includes 90,000 traditional album sales, along with 4,500 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which translates to roughly 6.33 million on-demand audio streams throughout the week. Additionally, the album scored 500 track equivalent album (TEA) units in its first week.

This achievement places TWICE among an elite group: they are only the third K-pop girl group ever to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The other two groups to achieve this feat are BLACKPINK with “BORN PINK” and NewJeans with “Get Up.” Furthermore, “With YOU-th” expands the boundaries of girl group success on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming only the fourth girl group album since 2008 (when Danity Kane’s “Welcome to the Dollhouse” debuted at No. 1) to reach the top spot, regardless of nationality.
