South Korean national football team captain Son Heung-min has drawn attention for a video of his reunion with actress Jun Ji-hyun. The condition of his injured finger is also a matter of concern.
On February 20, fashion magazine W Korea posted a video on its SNS of Son Heung-min and Jun Ji-hyun together at a Burberry fashion brand event in London, England. The caption reads, “The monumental meeting of Son Heung-min and Jun Ji-hyun has come to fruition once again.”
In the photo, Son Heung-min greets Jun Ji-hyun and says, “Oh, really” and “Thank you so much.”
The two are official ambassadors for Burberry. They met at the London event for the same brand in September 2023.
In the photo, Son Heung-min waves his hand at the camera, revealing a silver brace on his right middle finger.
It is reported that Son Heung-min dislocated his finger on February 6, the day before the Asian Cup semi-final match against Jordan, during a conflict with Lee Kang-in and others over team management.
As a result, he has been playing with a finger brace in the Asian Cup semi-final match and the subsequent Tottenham Hotspur Premier League matches in England.
In an interview video uploaded on the Tottenham official homepage on February 16, Son Heung-min said, “It was a tough week, but the players, fans, and staff all welcomed me warmly,” and “It was probably the toughest week of my life, but it made me happy and lifted me up.”
