Lee Do-hye’s been getting a lot of love for her role in Resident Playbook, which just wrapped up on the 18th. She played Ki Eun-mi, a third-year resident who brought heart and warmth to the show, especially through her sweet, caring attitude toward her juniors. Her emotional acting really stuck with viewers.
On the 19th, she shared some thoughts through her agency, Kook Entertainment. “I was truly happy to be able to spend a long time with viewers through Resident Playbook and the Hospital Playlist series. It was a precious opportunity for me to show the growth and human side of a resident through the character of Ki Eun-mi,” she said.
She also added, “The moments I spent with my Yulje Medical Center colleagues, the director, and the staff were a great source of strength. Thanks to the love from the viewers, I was able to complete this journey well.”
Lee Do-hye’s been acting since her debut in the 2020 MBC drama Find Me in Your Memory, and she’s been steady ever since. You might’ve seen her in Snowdrop, Welcome to Samdal-ri, Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2, Crash Course in Romance, Big Mouth, School 2021, Hospital Playlist 2, Ode to Our Youth, Do You Like Brahms?, and Crash Landing on You.
She’s definitely built up a strong resume, and her role in Resident Playbook just added more depth to it.
