tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Lovely Runner” has proven its popularity by breaking its own records every week.
“Lovely Runner” has topped the ratings for six consecutive weeks among all channels in the tvN target demographic of men and women aged 20-49, and has also recorded the highest viewership among women in their 20s for all weekday dramas aired this year. According to the FUNdex, a K-content online competitiveness analysis agency, “Lovely Runner” ranked first for two consecutive weeks with 58.37% in the TV-OTT drama topic survey for the second week of May. Cast members Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hye Yoon, and Song Geon Hee also swept the top three spots in the TV-OTT actor topic survey, respectively, earning the honor of a topic-related grand slam. In particular, the average topic score for the fifth episode of “Lovely Runner” was 68,248 points, which is the 9th highest record of all time.
In addition, according to the weekly view chart for the first week of May (April 29 to May 5) of VIu, an Asia-wide OTT, “Lovely Runner” ranked first in Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia. This is a remarkable achievement for “Lovely Runner” in just four weeks of local service.
“Lovely Runner” is also doing well on music charts. Songs from the drama, such as “Sudden Shower,” “Spring Snow,” “I Think I Did,” and “Run Run,” are ranking high on Melon’s Top 100 chart, attracting popularity.
Finally, “Lovely Runner” has recorded a total of 570 million views as of episode 10. On Tving, the real-time viewing share of the entire live channel exceeded 94%.
“Lovely Runner” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM KST.
