On March 3rd, former EXID member Hani (Ahn Hee Yeon) took to social media to express her heartfelt condolences and share her personal memories of Shinsadong Tiger.
Filled with gratitude for his kindness and support, Hani wrote:
Oppa, do you know that? You were a really good person. And I was always grateful for that. But I regret not telling you that enough.
Hani went on to describe how Shinsadong Tiger had created a safe and nurturing environment for her and her fellow EXID members:
“Thanks to your thoughtfulness, effort, and sacrifice, we laughed a lot inside the fence you built for us. You were the best protector. Thank you for protecting us in our own way.”
As you said, I’m finally happy. And I’ll keep working hard to be happy. I know that’s what you would want the most. Oppa, I miss you. I love you. Thank you.”
Hani concluded her post by reaffirming her commitment to happiness, knowing that it was what Shinsadong Tiger would have wanted for her.
Here, Hani also shared a conversation she had with Shinsadong Tiger:
“You shouldn’t be someone who keeps worrying me! In the end, you’ll be happy and you’ll win. Because even though you’re slower and get frustrated more than others, you achieve things by yourself. Don’t lose your self-esteem.”
Hani playfully responded: “Even Oppa says I’m slow and frustrated! I tried my best to be fast! Thank you for waiting for me even though I’m slow and frustrated.”
