Actors Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee are embroiled in a ‘transit love‘ controversy following Hyeri’s remarks, but an interview with an acquaintance denies this.
On the 21st, TV Daily released an interview conducted with an acquaintance of actors Hyeri and Ryu Jun-yeol, reporting that the two had grown apart since last year.
In the interview, the acquaintance said, “Hyeri and Ryu Jun-yeol met only once last year. They were already emotionally distant.” They added, “They just postponed the announcement of their breakup because they had been in a long-term relationship.”
The acquaintance also denied the ‘transit love’ rumors between Ryu Jun-yeol and actress Han So-hee, saying, “Hyeri must have known that the ‘let’s talk more’ remark was a formality.” They continued, “It is unreasonable to assume that it is ‘transit love’ in that situation.” The acquaintance explained their own position, saying, “When I first saw (Hyeri’s) ‘interesting’, I thought of Hawaii. I interpreted it as ‘He went to Hawaii with another woman. Interesting.'”
According to reports, Hyeri and Ryu Jun-yeol had a “let’s think about it” conversation in February of last year, which ultimately led to their breakup.. At the time of the breakup, Hyeri was filming the movie ‘Victory’ on Geoje Island. The two, who had been connected through the drama ‘Reply 1988’, are said to have delayed the release of the breakup article until November of last year, perhaps due to the support of many drama fans.
