Her boyfriend, Ryu Jun-yeol, had arrived a day earlier, with the two maintaining a one-day gap.

Actress Han So-hee admits to dating Ryu Jun-yeol and returns to Korea after finishing her Hawaiian schedule.

Han So-hee arrived at Incheon International Airport on the afternoon of the 18th. It was the first time she had shown her face to the press since the rumors of her relationship with Ryu Jun-yeol, the rumors of a love triangle, and the admission of her relationship. Her lover, Ryu Jun-yeol, had arrived the day before, and the two were separated by a day.

Unlike Ryu Jun-yeol, who was wearing a mask, horn-rimmed glasses, and a hoodie, Han So-hee was wearing full makeup and colorful clothes and did not cover her face. She was wearing a ring on her left ring finger. After hesitating for a moment after seeing the reporters, she soon appeared holding hands with an acquaintance and smiling. As she was going up the escalator, she turned around and smiled at the cry of “So-hee,” and bowed her head to greet her.

Hyeri apologizes for speculation caused by personal feelings

Hyeri, the ex-girlfriend of Ryu Jun-yeol, also addressed the controversy. She apologized for the speculation and controversy that arose due to her personal feelings. “I don’t think I thought about what kind of waves each of my small actions would make,” she admitted. “I sincerely apologize to those who have been affected.”

Hyeri explained the process of her breakup with Ryu Jun-yeol. “An article was published in November that we had ended our 8-year relationship,” she said. “The process was not a decision made in a short period of time, and after the breakup article was published, we talked about talking more. However, after that conversation, we did not have any contact or meetings.”

She continued, “Four months later, after reading a new article, I felt that my emotions were being accepted as Lee Hye-ri, not actress Lee Hye-ri. I am sorry again for causing damage with my momentary emotions. I will try to be more careful in my words and actions in the future.”

Agencies respond to controversy

Both Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol’s agencies addressed the media frenzy surrounding their relationship.

Han So-hee’s agency, 9ato Entertainment, expressed their concern for the actress’s well-being. “The actress is having a very difficult time mentally due to the indiscriminate speculative posts and malicious comments that are being written before she is an actress,” they said. The agency assured they would take steps to protect her.

Ryu Jun-yeol’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, condemned the unauthorized filming and speculation surrounding the couple’s trip to Hawaii. They felt it violated the actors’ privacy and announced legal action against anyone who defamed or violated their personalities.

The start of the rumors

The rumors of Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol’s relationship started when a netizen posted a story about seeing “popular Korean actors playing at the poolside of a hotel” while traveling in Hawaii. In the early days of the rumor, both sides said that it was true that they went to Hawaii, but they neither denied nor admitted the rumor of the relationship.

However, the rumor spread to a ‘love triangle rumor’ when Hyeri posted a picture of an overseas landscape with palm trees and the words “This is fun” on her social media. In response, Han So-hee denied the rumors and the situation escalated, eventually leading to her public admission of the relationship.
