Kim Mu-jun (26) Shuts Down Dating Rumors with Nagano Mei (25) Amid Affair Buzz.
Kim Mu-jun’s setting the record straight—he’s not dating Nagano Mei, even though there’s a whole lotta drama going on around her alleged affair.
On the 23rd, his agency 9ato Entertainment said, “Kim Mu-jun and Nagano Mei are not lovers. They are close colleagues who comfortably share meals.”
Earlier that same day, the Japanese magazine Shukan Bunshun dropped a bomb, reporting that “Nagano Mei and Kei Tanaka are in a relationship.” Kei Tanaka (40) has been married to Sakura since 2011 and they’ve got two kids. The mag claimed he and Nagano Mei were spotted staying at her place and even posted pics of them linking arms. Oh, and in case you forgot—they played a daughter and stepdad in the 2021 film And, the Baton Was Passed (directed by Maeda Tetsu).

Now, people are starting to whisper that maybe Nagano Mei’s dating both Kei Tanaka and Kim Mu-jun. Why? ‘Cause all three of ’em are working together on the new TBS drama Caster, which just kicked off on the 13th. In it, they play a news director and a news production assistant director, respectively. And rumors started flying after word got out that Nagano Mei invited a Korean male actor from the drama over to her place—which is how Kim Mu-jun got dragged into all this dating talk.
If you don’t know Kim Mu-jun yet, he made his debut in the 2020 web drama New Learn. Since then, he’s been in stuff like It’s Okay to Be Sensitive Season 3 (2020), Nevertheless (2021), and Sorry Not Sorry (2024). Oh, and he even popped up in season two of the Japanese drama Black Pean last year. Coming up, he’s leading the SBS Monday-Tuesday drama Kiss Me for No Reason!—set to drop in September. In that one, he’s playing Kim Seon U, a single dad who pretends to be the hubby of his bestie of 20 years, Go Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun Jin).
