The production team of “The Woman Who Plays” released character stills of the three main actors who have transformed into their respective roles: Seo Ji-hwan (Uhm Tae-goo), a big brother who has overcome his dark past, Go Eun-ha (Han Sun-hwa), a kids creator, and Jang Hyun-woo (Kwon Yool), a prosecutor.
“The Woman Who Plays” is a romance filled with excitement between Ji Hwan, the eldest brother who clears his dark past, and Eun Ha, the mini-unnie who plays with the children.
In this drama, Uhm Tae-goo plays the role of Seo Ji-hwan, the CEO of the social enterprise “Thirsty Deer” who has overcome his past as a boss of an organization. Seo Ji-hwan travels across South Korea to disband organizations and helps released members find new lives by hiring them.
Han Sun-hwa plays Go Eun-ha, a kids creator who goes by the name “Mini unnie.” Based on her childhood memories of the only neighborhood brother who played with her, Go Eun-ha works as a kids creator to share love and happiness with children.
Kwon Yool plays Jang Hyun-woo, a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. Jang Hyun-woo is infinitely affectionate towards children, but he has a stubborn belief that “people don’t change” towards criminals. In particular, he becomes suspicious of Seo Ji-hwan, who legally employs ex-convicts.
The production team of “The Woman Who Plays” said, “We want to give viewers the fun of finding reversals and the excitement of heart-fluttering through the process of the characters, who seem to live in different worlds at first glance, breaking down prejudices and discovering the value of others.” They added, “Please look forward to the acting synergy of Uhm Tae-goo, Han Sun-hwa, and Kwon Yool, which will further highlight the relationships between the characters.”
Meanwhile, JTBC’s new drama “The Woman Who Plays” is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
