Byeon Woo Seok’s hot streak will also extend overseas, as he is set to embark on his first Asian fan meeting tour next month. The tour will kick off in Taipei, Taiwan, and will also include stops in Bangkok, Thailand, Seoul, and Hong Kong.
Byeon Woo Seok is currently starring in the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama “Lovely Runner“, where he plays the role of Ryu Seon-jae, the vocalist of the top band Eclipse. His performance in the drama has been praised for its fresh chemistry with co-star Kim Hye-yoon, who plays the role of Im Sol. Byeon Woo Seok’s portrayal of the character, which seamlessly transitions between an 18-year-old high school student and a 34-year-old celebrity, has also been lauded for its versatility.
“Lovely Runner” is a time-slip salvation romance drama that tells the story of Ryu Seon-jae, a top artist who gave Im Sol, an ardent fan, the will to live. After Ryu Seon-jae’s death, Im Sol travels back in time to 2008 in an attempt to save her “favorite”. The drama airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM KST.
