Actress Kim Min-hee (43) and director Hong Sang-soo (65) were recently seen out and about with their son, and the sighting’s got folks talking.
On the 25th, someone uploaded a photo to an online community showing the couple taking a peaceful stroll with their baby at Misaho Lake Park in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province.
In the pic, Kim Min-hee’s walking along the lakeside before picking up her son and holding him in her arms. Hong Sang-soo, rocking sunglasses, is seen smiling at his son—it’s a pretty heartwarming moment.

The couple, who’ve been open about their relationship for the past nine years, recently welcomed a baby boy. According to folks in the film industry, Kim Min-hee had been resting at a postpartum care center in Hanam after giving birth.
Kim Min-hee and Hong Sang-soo first met while working on the film Right Now, Wrong Then back in 2015, and their relationship grew from there—even with a 22-year age gap. Hong Sang-soo made it official during a press conference for On the Beach at Night Alone in 2017.
Despite the ongoing criticism over their “affair,” the two have stuck together both personally and professionally. Kim Min-hee’s played leading roles in a bunch of Hong Sang-soo’s films, like On the Beach at Night Alone (2017), The Day After (2017), Claire’s Camera (2017), Grass (2018), Hotel by the River (2019), The Woman Who Ran (2020), Introduction (2021), The Novelist’s Film (2022), In Our Day (2023), and By the Stream (2024). On top of that, she’s been credited behind the scenes too—as a production manager and on-set photographer for some of those projects.
Hong Sang-soo actually filed for divorce from his wife (Ms. A) back in November 2016, but the Seoul Family Court tossed the case in 2019, and he didn’t appeal it. So, technically, he’s still married to Ms. A. They’ve got a daughter together.
