‘Fortune Tellers’ Love 2’ wrapped up its second season by once again diving deep into the hearts of emotionally sensitive young people.
The final episode, which aired on the 29th on SBS, showed how things ended up for the young men and women—who also happen to be fortune tellers, numerologists, and tarot readers—as they navigated their romantic connections.
Ha Byeong-yeol, after reading into his own astrological chart, decided to go all in with his feelings for Chae Yu-kyung. He pulled her aside and said, “Let’s talk one last time,” making his move pretty clear.
Meanwhile, Jang Ho-am, who also had feelings for Chae Yu-kyung, couldn’t hide how upset he was when he saw Ha Byeong-yeol take her away right in front of him. Love, it seemed, was turning into a bit of a competition.
The show captured this love triangle between Ha Byeong-yeol, Chae Yu-kyung, and Jang Ho-am in a really subtle and thoughtful way. You could almost feel the emotions shifting between them in real time.
Since these were young people who spent their lives reading others’ futures and destinies, their own feelings were super raw and intense—which definitely made viewers feel a bit on edge, too.
Back in season one, the show got people talking by showing off the energy, flirty moments, and heartfelt worries of MZ generation fortune tellers in a way that felt fresh and different. Season two kept that going, zooming in even more on the inner emotions of folks like Chae Yu-kyung and Jang Ho-am, and proved that this concept really works in a seasonal format.
And of course, panelists Shin Dong-yup and Yoo In-na added their usual clever and funny takes, giving the show an extra layer of fun. With all that, and the growing buzz it’s getting, fans are already hoping season three isn’t too far off.
