BLACKPINK’s Jennie recently revealed that she once went for about 4 and a half days without sleep due to her hectic schedule.

In a YouTube video uploaded on March 1st, Jennie talked about how she was adjusting to early morning filming schedules. When asked by Cha Tae-hyun if she had to go to music shows early, Jennie replied that she “couldn’t sleep at all” during promotions.

Yang Se-chan then asked how long she had gone without sleep, to which Jennie replied, “I think I didn’t sleep for about 4 and a half days. That happened when I was filming music videos or doing back-to-back filming.”

Oh Nara expressed her surprise and asked how Jennie could maintain her energy on stage after not sleeping. Jennie laughed and said, “I did it because I had to, but I can’t do it anymore.”

Cha Tae-hyun also shared his own experience, saying, “It’s because you’re young. We (as actors) also filmed a two-month miniseries in three months when we were young. Even if we started filming a month in advance, we would only film four episodes, and after that it would be live broadcast level.”

YouTube channel ‘뜬뜬’ (DdeunDdeun) in a video titled “집들이는 핑계고 ㅣ EP.39”. While discussing her current efforts to adjust to early morning filming schedules, Jennie shed light on the sleep deprivation she endured during promotions.
