Original Singer of “Balloon” Calls Out KBS for Song’s Use in Jamboree Super Concert 2023

The original lyricist of the song “Balloon”, Lee Doo-heon, is calling out KBS for the way the song was used in the Jamboree Super Concert. The song was originally written and performed by the band Five Fingers in 1986. It was later covered by the group TVXQ in 2006.

Lee Doo-heon is upset that the original Lyricist of the song was incorrectly credited to TVXQ.

Lee Doo-heon, who was in charge of vocals and guitar in Five Fingers, posted on Facebook that day, He wrote: “The Jamboree Super Concert finale song ‘Balloon’. Author’s permission? Aside from prior permission, the original song was TVXQ? Should I apologize for this? The original song is Five Fingers.”

KBS has apologized for the error and has said that they will take steps to ensure that it does not happen again. They have also said that they will correct the credits for the song in the rerun of the concert.

Lee Doo-heon is not satisfied with the apology. He feels that KBS should have done more to ensure that the song was properly used and credited. He is also calling for more thoughtfulness and respect for the original intent of songs in the future.

Lee Doo-heon’s post has sparked a debate about the importance of respecting the original intent of songs. Many people agree with Lee Doo-heon that it is important to give credit where credit is due, and to use songs in a way that is respectful of the artists who created them.
