In the opening episode, Son Yeo-eun masterfully conveyed the deep emotional turmoil experienced by Ye-eun as their financial situation deteriorates. A tense phone conversation with her husband, during which she berates him for their impending foreclosure, showcased the actress’ ability to realistically portray the complexities of a troubled marriage.
However, the character takes an unexpected turn when Ye-eun discovers a hidden stash of cash.
