Park Se Wan has been confirmed to star in the upcoming comedy crime drama “Not Very Strong But Charming Violent Crimes Unit.” The drama follows the transformation of the country’s lowest-ranking violent crimes unit into the nation’s top team after they are paired with a highly skilled team leader.

On October 10, her agency Ghost Studio confirmed the news, stating, “It is true that [Park Se Wan] will be starring in ‘Not Very Strong But Charming Violent Crimes Unit.’”

Park Se Wan will play the female lead in the drama, which is being written by screenwriters Lee Young Chul and Lee Kwang Jae. Lee Young Chul is known for his work on the popular “High Kick” series and “The Best Hit,” while Lee Kwang Jae wrote the hit drama “Potato Star 2013QR3.”

Park Se Wan made her acting debut in 2016 and has since starred in several popular dramas, including “School 2017,” “I’m Not a Robot,” and “Alice, the Final Weapon.” She’s currently putting the finishing touches on her new Netflix drama “Doona!“, which will premiere on October 20.

“Not Very Strong But Charming Violent Crimes Unit” is set to premiere in 2024.
