Content creator RALRAL revealed she lost all the money she made over the past six years. She appeared as a guest on the June 25th episode of tvN’s You Quiz on the Block and opened up about her struggles and financial loss.
She talked about her earlier dreams, saying, “I dreamed of becoming a musical actress. I asked my parents to let me act since middle school, but they didn’t. Our family was struggling financially.” She added, “So, I secretly took an entrance exam for an arts high school while working part-time, but I failed. I always tried, but I always failed.”
Later, RALRAL shared how she finally entered the musical scene in Daehak-ro, even though she didn’t have a clear plan. “I didn’t get paid properly. I endured for six months, but it was too difficult to maintain a living. I was already working three or four part-time jobs, so I thought, ‘Realistically, I can’t pursue this path,’ and gave up, going to work at a company. However, I couldn’t stay there long because I had something else I wanted to do.”

She also talked about her part-time job experiences, saying, “I worked at a wedding hall for over three years. I did everything I could.” She said she became an ace at selling Hwagwaja (flower cake), explaining, “They said there had never been such numbers before. I sold 3,500 units on weekends.” She even got an offer to become a wedding planner.
RALRAL’s financial struggles didn’t end there. She said she suffered a huge loss due to a pop-up store. “When I was making merchandise, they told me that once I placed an order, I couldn’t make them again. I had to decide the quantity of merchandise to sell for two weeks, but I couldn’t estimate how much to make.” She admitted, “I was really ignorant then; I calculated it by multiplying the number of visitors to the department store in one day by two weeks.”
“I can’t say how much I made, but I lost all the money I earned in six years,” she said. “That’s why these days, I openly say, ‘I need to earn money for diapers.’” She wrapped up with a laugh, adding, “I hope today’s appearance fee gets deposited as soon as possible.”
