Janie Tienphosuwan is a name synonymous with beauty and strength. She is an inspiration to women all over Thailand for her dedication to self-care and her incredible career. But there is much more to Janie than just her looks and her success.

Not a half-blood

Contrary to popular belief, Janie is not half-blood. She was born and raised in America before moving to Thailand at the age of 11. When she first entered the entertainment industry, her limited Thai language skills and her Caucasian features led many to believe that she was of mixed race. However, Janie is a proud Thai citizen who holds both Thai and American citizenship.

A career spanning over 20 years

Janie’s journey in the entertainment industry began when she was scouted by a modeling agency. Her first appearance in the spotlight was in the music video for “Only You” by JR-Voy. This was followed by a string of other projects, and she quickly rose to become one of the top actresses in Thailand.

Over 30 drama series

Over the past 20 years, Janie has starred in over 30 drama series, opposite some of the biggest names in the industry. Her most popular works include “Thai lakorn “Tang Parn Kammathep” with Andrew Gregson, “Hoi Un Chun Ruk Tur” with Dan Worrawech Danuwong, “Krungthep Ratree” with Ohm Atshar Nampan, “Hong Sabat Lai” with Poh Natthawut Skidjai, “Raeng Ngao” with Ken Theeradeth Wongpuapan, and “Plerng Boon” with Nok Chatchai Plengpanich.

A masterpiece performance

Of all her roles, Janie considers her portrayal of “Jai Rerng” in the hit drama “Plerng Boon” to be her masterpiece. She described the experience of playing this complex character as both challenging and rewarding. In a social media post, she wrote, “For me, no matter what day I start a new drama, it is always the day I am most excited and nervous. 20 years in acting and there is not a day that I am not excited. Every time Chaninthorn Prasertprasart (the director) directed me on how to play the role, I would tell him every time that I couldn’t do it, that I didn’t know how to play it to that point… Today is the last day of ‘Jai Rerng.’ However, she is proud of the work she did and believes that it is one of her best performances.

Marital life

On October 19, 2018, Janie tied the knot with Mickey Allapach Na Pombhejara. The couple met through their shared love of fitness and have been happily married for 6 years. They are also blessed with a beautiful daughter named “Nolà.”

Janie Tienphosuwan is an inspiration to women everywhere. She is a successful actress, a devoted wife and mother, and a fitness enthusiast. She is proof that beauty and strength can go hand in hand.
