On the 14th, Choi Soo-young and Ryeoun appeared on the YouTube (KODE) show “SELF-ON KODE.“ They didn’t know each other’s identities and had only talked through messages before the show. One fun clue they got was seeing each other’s phone wallpaper.
They also ended up sharing their playlists. Soo-young said, “I listen to ‘Princess’s Rule.’ I’m a princess. I hypnotize myself into believing I’m a princess every day.” Ryeoun replied, “You’re a princess?” then cheekily asked, “Should I call you ‘noona’ (older sister) or ‘princess’?” Soo-young got a little shy and admitted, “My heart fluttered a bit. I’ve never heard such a line before. It’s heart-fluttering.”
At one point, Ryeoun asked, “Do you travel abroad often?” and Soo-young answered, “I don’t travel much these days, but I like traveling so I’ve flown a lot.” Ryeoun said, “You must have accumulated a lot of mileage. I’m jealous.” Then Soo-young turned the question around, asking what airline level he had. When he told her, she playfully said, “It’s lower than mine. Have you heard of MM? Million Miler?”
She proudly flaunted her Million Miler status, which is something airlines give to folks who’ve flown over a million miles. She even joked during an interview, “There’s a rumor that a flight won’t depart if a Million Miler isn’t on board.”
Hearing all that, Ryeoun was curious and asked, “How many years have you been in the industry? How old are you?” Soo-young grinned and said, “I wasn’t born in the 80s.” That made Ryeoun joke, “The 70s?” which had them both laughing.
