BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi will release their short film Dream on August 13. The project is based on “Dream”, the 13th track from Lisa’s solo album After Ego.
The official trailer premiered on the LLOUD Official YouTube channel on August 11 and quickly gained millions of views. The clip offers a glimpse into Lisa’s work after BLACKPINK, showing her on-screen with Kentaro in what appears to be an emotional and high-quality production. Fans have described the trailer as a “work of art” and are already anticipating its release.
On the previous day, Lisa posted a black and white teaser photo on Instagram with the caption, “An emotional, beautiful story that will soon be yours.” In the image, Lisa and Kentaro are seen embracing and looking directly into the camera, creating a still that matches the film’s tone.
Fans reacted strongly to the teaser, leaving comments such as “My favorite song”, “Can’t wait to ‘DREAM ‘”, and “You are the dream”. The pairing of Lisa and Kentaro has drawn even more attention since the actor was spotted at the BLACKPINK World Tour in Goyang last month.
