Go Hyun-jung Calms Fans After Sparking Health Concerns With Selfies.
Go Hyun-jung’s latest selfies had fans buzzing, but the actress quickly put their minds at ease with a brief, reassuring message.
On June 14, she dropped several photos on her social media with the simple caption, “A peaceful week!! Thank you.” The pics showed her donning headphones and even a playful Pikachu hair clip, but one photo in particular caught attention—she’s seen with long, straight hair, staring into the camera, her eyes looking unusually red and hollow.
It didn’t take long for fans to flood the post with support. One user commented, “I’m cheering for you by looking at my sister’s photos.” That caption from Go Hyun-jung seemed to be all fans needed to breathe a sigh of relief.
Health worries aren’t exactly new for the actress. She previously missed the press conference for ENA’s Namib back in December, which already had fans concerned. Then earlier this year, she had to clear up wild rumors about her death following a major surgery. In a vlog, she clarified, “I’m not dead,” adding, “I’ve recovered well since then and am healthy now. You don’t need to worry. Thank you.”
In work news, she’s finished filming SBS’s upcoming weekend series The Mantis: Original Sin, which is expected to hit screens this September.
