The upcoming JTBC K-drama King the Land

The upcoming JTBC K-drama King the Land has wrapped up its nine-month-long filming journey today, June 6, 2023. The drama, which stars Lee Jun-ho and Im Yoon-ah, is scheduled to premiere on JTBC on June 17, 2023. It will also be available for streaming on TVING in South Korea and on Netflix in selected regions.

The cast and crew of King the Land celebrated the end of filming with a wrap party. Lee Jun-ho shared a photo from the party on his Instagram account, writing, “It’s been a long journey, but it’s finally over. Thank you to everyone who worked on this project. I can’t wait for you all to see it.”

King the Land tells the story of Goo Won (Lee Jun-ho), the heir to The King Group, a luxury hotel conglomerate, who was thrown into an inheritance war, and Cheon Sa-rang (Im Yoon-ah), a hotelier who always has a smile on her face till she meets Goo Won.

The drama is directed by Im Hyun-wook, who previously directed the hit dramas My Mister and The King: Eternal Monarch. The script is written by Choi Rom, who previously wrote the dramas The King: Eternal Monarch and The Crowned Clown.
